The Willowood USA “2012 Central California Dream Flight Tour” For Veterans

Roseburg, OR-September 17^th, 2012. Willowood USA announced today the company would be the primary supporter of the 2012, Ageless Aviation Dreams, Central California, Veterans Dream Flight Tour. The dates for the tour are October 11,12,15,16,17, 2012.

The Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation is non-profit organization built on the philosophy of “Giving Back To Those Who Have Given”. The foundation and its supporters honor senior military heroes living in long-term care communities by giving them a Dream Flight in a 1942 Boeing Stearman, the airplane used to train many military aviators in the late thirties and early forties.

Willowood USA’s support of the 2012 Central California Dream Flight Tour will allow thirty extremely deserving WWII and Korean veterans to experience the thrill of an Ageless Aviation Dreams, Dream Flight.  “Without Willowood’s very generous donation, this leg of the tour would not be possible”, says Darryl Fisher, founder of the Ageless Aviation Dreams foundation.

Joe Middione, Vice-President Willowood USA states, “All of us at Willowood USA have a deep appreciation for our military veterans, many of which are farmers living here in Central California.  They protected us during our nation’s time of need and feed us when we are hungry. We want to show our appreciation and do something very special for them.  I am so excited that Willowood USA has this opportunity to help these “Golden” individuals experience the thrill of an Ageless Aviation Dreams Dream Flight”.

The Willowood USA, 2012 Central California, Veterans Dream Flight Tour will start in Sacramento, CA on October 11^th and stop in Davis, Modesto, Salinas, Paso Robles, Bakersfield, Visalia and Fresno before finishing up the tour on the 17^th in Fairfield. The Willowood USA 2012 Central California Dream flight tour was in Modesto, CA, on Friday. The foundation was giving flights to veterans living in Dale Commons retirement community.

Joe Middione with Willowood USA, the primary sponsor of the tour, was at the event and stated, “We are so excited to be a part of a program that gives back so much to our veterans. The American flag is part of our company logo for a reason. We are so proud of this is great nation and to be a part of the ag industry”.
